THE REFORMATION GROUP
This tightly knit cluster of 20 habitable worlds is located within the Hert Federation. These human pacifists fled the CCW region of space during some of the earliest CCW/TGE fighting, hoping to find a nice, quite place to settle in the Corkscrew Galaxy and at first they did find such a paradise. The area of space they finally located after journeying for several years was perfect for them; it wasnt an area contested by anyone and it was a near backwater, with very few interstellar nations or industrialized worlds situated nearby. The Reformers settled first on the capital world of New Jerusalem and eventually spread out to other nearby habitable worlds as their population steadily grew. Eventually the entire area was conquered in a lightning war by the Golgans; the Reformers were unprepared for such an attack and were quickly subjugated. The religious-minded Reformers obeyed their new masters for over 500 years, until the Golgan Republik started to break apart under severe internal pressures. The Reformation worlds later joined the newly emerged Hert Federation since a growing deadly threat was now located nearby; the Dionii Hive. Heavy fighting eventually broke out between the Hert and their allies against the advancing Dionii hordes, in which they continually lost battles and much interstellar space. Ultimately the Reformation Group ended up on the very front lines of the conflict but they have been able to hold off the Dionii with much Hert help, but they have suffered massive losses in spacecraft and are now buying Naruni weaponry to stave off the final assault on their homeworlds.

The population of the Reformation worlds is just 10 billion people; exports are high-tech goods and personal robots, as well as advanced robotic weaponry. They also sell automated Bolos and Planetary Siege Units only to military allies. Enormous orbital elevators that reach into space from the ground are located on a dozen Reformation worlds, with New Jerusalem having 6 of them.
