Bug: any type of the Dionii race. A derogatory term.
Contanium: a special type of metallic shielding developed by the Ssli and used to hide the high-energy output of a ships reactor, especially from the Mechanoids. Derep: a debarkation report, generally used by military personnel after a battle.

Drey: a universal food source created for consumption by all Seven Races, except the cybernetic Ssli race. It is cheaply made and widely available in the Sombrero Galaxy.
Dyson Bubble: an arrangement of space habitats around a star, in a non-orbital pattern. It is similar to a Dyson swarm, but composed of many independent constructs and likewise could be constructed incrementally. Unlike the Dyson swarm, the Dyson bubble constructs making it up are not in orbit around the star, but would be statites—satellites suspended by use of enormous light sails using radiation pressure to counteract the star's pull of gravity. Such constructs would not be in danger of collision or of eclipsing one another; they would be totally stationary with regard to the star, and independent of one another. Dozens are known to exist in the Sombrero Galaxy.
Flamer: a typical infantry weapon used by most major and minor militaries in the Sombrero Galaxy. On Earth this type of weapon is called a "flamethrower".
FTL Inhibitor: a passive system developed by the Kraed and used extensively in warzones against enemy forces like the Mechanoids. A critical military system.

Incoherence: while travelling in the higher bands of subspace, a spaceship can accidently hit a disruptive wave, making the vessel become instantly incoherent. The ship disappears forever and some speculate that the crew never dies, travelling the universe as a interstellar "Dutchman".

Invert: a homosexual person. Most major species in the Sombrero Galaxy have these sorts of individuals. In human society, they are still discriminated against so they hide whenever possible.

Mithrilium: an extremely rare metal found only on one planet, the inter-dimensional world Wingard. This critically important planet only exists in three other dimensional locations, including the Three Galaxies (owned by the UWW but occupied by the Kreeghor), the Sombrero Galaxy, and in Universe 114 (the planet was destroyed by the Mechanoids). Mithrilium ore is difficult to process but once accomplished it can be infused with magical energy, creating the Multiverses' most devastating hand-held weaponry.
Moon Movers: a very profitable human company specializing in moving small and medium sized moons around solar systems, primarily for mining, terraforming, and colonization purposes.
No Colonization Zone (NoCoZo): a region of space on the Outer Ring of the Sombrero Galaxy that is badly overpopulated. Every habitable world in the No Colonization Zone is occupied, with a dozen worlds in the region having hundreds of billions of inhabitants, including several that having trillions in population. Because of the extreme overpopulation in the NoCoZo, no additional worlds are allowed to be colonized in this region.
Oddsmakers: the infamous bookies of the Sombrero Galaxy.
